First Race: 1.10pm
Down Royal is the stage for a seven-race jumps card on Tuesday with the first race due off at 1.10pm.
The most valuable contest on the card is the Silks@DownRoyal Rated Novice Hurdle (3.25), worth €16,000 in prize-money, and it has attracted a field of five including two from the Gordon Elliott stable. Daryl Jacob makes the trip over from Britain to ride Cadeau Du Bresil and he is likely to be sent off favourite on the back of his second to Thirsty Work at Navan. Elliott's other representative is Usurp, ridden by man of the moment David Mullins.
Mark Walsh is riding out of his skin at the moment and he takes the mount on the JP McManus-owned A Great View in the opening Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Rated Novice Chase (1.10).
