What to expect

Enjoy a relaxed and fun-filled day out for the whole family, surrounded by like-minded dog lovers.

Don’t miss out on early bird tickets for just £12.50! Your furry friend gets in free but must be kept on a lead at all times and under control (we recommend a maximum of two dogs per person). Parking is on us, and while we have some covered areas, it’s best to come prepared for the great outdoors. Kids under 14 go free, but don’t forget to register them for a ticket.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where can I get tickets?

You can grab your tickets online at downroyal.com/tickets. If you have any trouble, just drop us a line at info@downroyal.com.

Do I need to pay extra for the shows and demos?

No, everything's included in the ticket price! All talks and demonstrations are free to attend..

What do I get with my ticket?

Your ticket is your golden pass to a fantastic day out with your furry friend! You’ll get access to all the fun, including obedience classes, trick workshops, agility shows, and our exciting competitions.

Do I have to pay for parking?

Parking is on us! There's free parking available for everyone, just a short walk from the entrance. You can find us at BT27 5RW.

Does my dog need a ticket?

Your furry friend is our VIP guest! Dogs go free, but please keep them on a leash unless they’re in a designated area and have permission from our trainers. We recommend bringing a maximum of two dogs per adult.

Do I need a ticket for my kids?

Kids aged 14 and under get in for free, but please register them for a ticket. If they're older than 14, they'll need a ticket.

Does my dog have to be on a leash all the time?

Yes, unless they're in a special area and have been given the go-ahead by one of our trainers.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Mostly outdoors, so come prepared! We do have some covered areas if the weather isn't playing ball.

Will there be food for humans?

Absolutely! We'll have food stalls and a coffee truck to keep you fueled up.

Can I bring any dog?

We welcome all dogs, except those on the Dangerous Dogs Order (Northern Ireland) list. We have specific rules for XL bully dogs, so please make sure you can control your dog and they're comfortable in a busy environment. We reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog isn't behaving.

Can I bring my XL bully dog?

You can, but they must be muzzled and on a short leash at all times. Please be aware that XL bully dogs can't participate in the "have-a-go" areas.
